What To Expect When Calling Link Interactive
When we called Link Interactive we were pleasantly surprised to find the representative Ken to be friendly, informed and not overly aggressive in trying to force us to purchase before we indicated we were ready. He asked us about our home’s floor plan, specifically the number of doors and windows on the first floor and whether we had an attached garage. While he was building the system configuration, he asked us if we had any specific concerns and while we didn’t at the time, he explained that if there was anything the basic configuration he was going to recommend didn’t cover he would adjust it to better meet our needs and concerns.
All-in-all the conversation was professional but very casual which was a welcome change from many of the other hard-charge and high-pressure approach many other sales reps have taken with us. Even for someone who secret shops as part of their research, it can be a very uncomfortable situation to be in. Some reps have even gone beyond “aggressive” to being outright rude. That was not the case with Ken at Link Interactive. He was a pleasure to speak to and if we were in the market for a home security system, we would have happily completed the purchase while speaking with him.

Learn More About Link
Link Interactive’s History
With over 65 years of experience in the security Industry, Link Interactive knows how important it is to keep your family safe. They’re also leaders in the home automation space, seeing how useful and beneficial it is for their customers. Having one integrated system where homeowners can protect and control the home is a recognized convenience and cost saving ability.
Link’s parent company Mountain Alarm started out providing fire monitoring and protection and quickly branched out to include traditional home security options. Six years ago they saw the potential for self-install systems – rather than charge customers for installation, and inconvenience them by coming to their home – they believed delivering a complete, ready-to-go system would better suite their customers and Link Interactive was born.
Making a system easy to install, while also maintaining extremely high security standards, took some new technology and forward thinking. Traditional systems would use a landline to monitor a home. This was easily disabled by simply snipping the line. Link Interactive takes advantage of cellular technology to make the system much more secure, easier to install and a lot more reliable.
Where Link is Headed
Link looks towards delivering new features and equipment that will improve security and make life easier for their customers. Link believes home automation is still in its infancy, and we’re excited about the new possibilities it will bring.
