This X-10 Security review has been submitted by a former or present X-10 customer. Although X-10 does not offer central station monitoring, they do offer wireless security systems that you can install and monitor yourself. That is, you can program the equipment to dial a certain number (your cell phone or pager, for example) in the event of an alarm. Keep in mind that the home security systems X-10 sells cannot be monitored by a regular alarm company. Camera systems are also available.
