My husband and I have had Vector Security for almost a year now and I must say that we have been completely 100% satisfied.
We have had ADT and Monotronics in the past and both were a complete nightmare. The local Authorized dealer is a company called Powerhome Technologies and they were fantastic. The sales rep. spent time educating us instead of focusing on trying to get us to just sign a contract. We felt he had our best interest at heart. The rates were lower than the other local competitors and we had zero out of pocket expenses.
We chose Vector because of local monitoring, certifications and fixed monitoring rates. My neighbor was considering a security system due to some recent break-ins in our neighborhood (our house was not targeted because of our system I assume) and she informed me that Vector has some poor reviews. I decided to look into this and was surprised to see other people unhappy with Vector,so I decided to share our experience. I personally feel that if someone does not get their way or they did not read their contract or ask the right questions it is easy to blame any company for not being upfront with them.
Consumers have plenty of resources at their expense to educate themselves before doing business with any company for any reason. My husband and I researched complaints on ADT, Monotronics International, Pinnacle, APX and Platinum security companies. What we read about them was far worse than anything we read about Vector. You need to do a better job of comparing companies before condeming any company. Most people spend more time complaining and wanting to spread bad news and they spend less time sharing with others when a company actually does the right thing-remember the grass is not always greener on the other side. We chose not to let human nature control us and be part of the problem we want to be part of the solution.
We feel Vector Security is the very best company in the industry to protect our family.
