As a Customer Service Representative, I for one, do my ultimate best to best help and provide our customers w/ a solution to any problem they call with.

Having worked in Monitoring and in CCC (customer care center) I have seen issues Vector Security has had w/ alarm systems. One, we do have dealers that sell systems/install.  Please read your contracts, if someone comes to your house don't be afraid to ask questions about a 3 or 5 year contract you are signing. I know some people do not ask or inquire about their contracts they are signing. But for majority of people that call in and ask about their contracts and are told the terms, we do tell you if you'd like to cancel  make sure it is in time before your contract ends and renews. In some cases, people do not call and advise us to cancel until months after their contracts end and renew.

Two, those of you that have monitoring, we have a 24/7 central station open to call on alarms. When we call for 3 months to tell you that either we have troubles on a zone or a low battery, we are doing this to help you get your system serviced, not to let your system sit there for months and continue to have problems. I'm not making excuses for Vector Security, but there are some ways as customers that you can help make your Vector Security system work for you and the safety of your family. Keep up on your alarm system. And no we are not a perfect company, there may be times you call and have a bad experience, if you have a problem and don't like the person you are dealing w/ please call back. There are people like myself who love their jobs and love helping and keeping our customers.  I know in my area, we do our best to help and maintain our Customers Alarm system.

I'm not speaking for all branches, but I am speaking for myself. And the job that I do.
