Never use this company. Vector is disreputable.
We were told the system could move with us and when we sold our house and contacted them to do this, they said that they could not. We were instructed to send them a letter of discontinuation of services with the understanding that we would still owe for the remaining two years plus of our contract. We established automatic draft for them from day one. They never did not take their money on time and THEN they tried to intimidate us out of the money remaining for the last four months of our contract as a lump sum by sending us to collections.
Line item #2 of their contract says they will give 30 days notice if they decide to end a contract. Needless to say they never contacted us before we were contacted by a collection agency. We did not take this affront lying down. We send the NC Attorney General's Office of Consumer Affairs and Vector a complete time line of contact, copies of our signed contract, and copies of every other exchange with them including dates of telephone contacts and faxed confirmation and denials records that we had kept. They backed off after they saw we meant business, but these people are crooks who apparently, by their own unintended admission, were not monitoring our house during the time after we discontinued services. They had not noted our letter to them 18 months earlier and tried to make it appear that their stupidity was our fault.
Never use this company. I'm not sure they have any idea what they are doing. More than scary to think they are the people entrusted with your property and life.
