I am now with ADT, but had Vector Security for 10 years. No complaints until the 9th year.
Customer Service personnel became rude and accusing. The 9th year I received a call from Vector that they were not receiving signals from my home and found that this had occured for months. When I called to report and voice concerns about paying for a service that I was not receiving, they said it was my responsibility to know if my system was working and I should have been testing monthly.
I notified the company that I was stopping service and was told to fax in writing my request which I did fax. They continued to withdraw from my bank account for one year. Again when I called they said it was my fault for not checking my bank acct.
So I have paid for 2 years of service not received.
