I have a rant about Vector Security and I am getting NOWHERE with them.
We live in PA and in May, a gentleman by the name of **** came and installed a "free" alarm system. All we had to pay was a monitoring fee every month. We asked him what the contract was and he informed us it was either 5 or 3 years. we took the three years and asked him what happens if we moved. He told us that the alarm system would stay here and we would get another free alarm system at the new house. Since we knew we would be moving before the three years was up, we were sold on the idea.
Well, now it is August. My house is sold, and we purchased a new house. Imagine my surprise when we called Vector up and were told we have to deal with the third party who installed our stuff. Hmm...funny...vector is who I pay my bill to and they have no problem taking my money...anyway...so we call the third party...AMP...and come to find out our salesman **** lied to us. So if we want to get a new alarm system in the new house, we have to pay this one off and give it to the new people and then get it installed in our new home and start ANOTHER three year contract.
Be warned people....stay away from Vector.
