| (Added May 25/09) I love Brinks! I initially had ADT, Protection 1 and Brinks come out to compare pricing and product with all three companies. We had to get our downstairs office rewired and so for that, Brinks offered the cheapest instalation. We went with them. I am so glad we did! We paid for three yrs in advance to get our great deal which they gave us for doing that, FREE INSTALLATION! And we have a really large hm, 3500 sq ft with lots of windows and doors. Our installer was friendly and professional. Our salesperson was the best, everyone at Brinks have been SO professional. When the alarm has gone off, because of the wind or our error, they have been PROMPT in calling and and/or sending the police. I LOVE BRINKS! and would refer them to anyone I know. And I am a true customer. Trust me, you'll sleep better knowing Brinks is on the job! |

| (Added May 2/09) My wife wanted an alarm in the house for when she is alone. So we contacted brinks based on reviews to just talk with a rep. The Brinks rep was very professinal helpful and did not try to tell us a bunch of stuff we didnt need. He even gave us a bunch of low cost security ideas to upgrade our home with. It ws very nice to know he was a retired detective that dealt in bugrlary and theft. He took time to identify himself and prove his background claims. Brinks was even having a special were you got a second key pad for free. He was not pushy and very informative. Our system is not in yet, but so far we are very pleased. |
| (Added April 24/09) I bought my home in 2007. It included the home security system. I owned the system outright. I did not allow Brinks to activate my system at all. The contract language did not suit me well at all. I only wanted the bells to sound off if someone entered or left and for the local siren to go off if someone broke into the house. Well the "system" is guarnteed for 1 year after 2 years the keypad started beeping. It was trouble calls. I contacted Brinks and they told me the system wasn't designed to operated if it wasn't being monitered. Well for 2 years it operated ok. They told me to contact a local vender to update the key pad, which I did.. The local vender told me brinks was calling my system trying to connect. (..ok I am not under contract ..did not want monitering). Long story short. This beeping was going off daily.ie 2:00am etc ..it appears that unless I deactivated my system totally or went into contract with them, they were going to make my system an incovenience. |

| (Added Mar 31/09) I've been with Brinks for over two years. I had only one problem when I forgot my code word, and for security reasons they sent the police out. The equipment died on me one time however they came out and fixed it the next day, said it was something wrong with the battery. I love their customer service they are always extremely friendly. I am one of those types of people that am quick to call and complain to the manager about horrible customer service and this time I would like to thank Brinks. I live in a big city and I feel more secure with their security system in my home especially the fire detects with my dogs alone by themselves during the day. |
| (Added Mar 6/09) We had Brinks installed on Saturday. One of the alarms installed stopped working on the following Tuesday. We called and asked for a Saturday appointment for the problem to be fixed. They said they would call us back. We called again the next day, and they said they had two days to call us back. Four days later, we called again and now have the Saturday appointment lined up. As a new customer, I have the impression Brink's customer care is below average unless you have the freedom to be available within their four hours morning or afternoon blocked service schedule. I'm now wondering how often my brand new system will malfunction or break. |

| (Added Jan 12/09) Be aware of cancelling service. We were told by our sales rep that we did not have a "termination fee" that was true-they are still billing me for a home I sold last year. They refuse to send a final statement after calling several times. I asked that the sales rep be investigated for poor business practices and the customer care dept does not even know who to call. I guess my final step will be to contact the Better Business Bureau. |

| (Added Dec 2/08) I just had Brinks come and install a system in my house this past Saturday. The local sales rep, with Brinks, was very good. He was well prepared and expalined and answered all my questions. The service tech, again Brinks, was on time and did a great, clean full install in about 4 hours. So far, I am fully satisfied and would recommend Brinks to anyone. |

| (Added Oct 6/08) I am just writing to let you know that Brink's dealers actually do all their own service. Brink's corporate may monitor it, but we do all the service locally. |
