| We recently switched to Alarm Relay from ADT and have had great service. Their technicans have been very helpful throughout the process. We decided to add additional coverage through digital cellular backup (something that NextAlarm didn't offer) and it was just $14.95/month for everything - a lot cheaper than $44.99/month with ADT. Just this morning our alarm system did not respond to the checkin signal from Alarm Relay. The quickly (within 20 seconds) attempted to contact us - when we didn't answer they started going through the contact list. When no one answered - they dispatched the police to check on the house. Great service! |
| For anyone who specifically has an issue with NextAlarm, there is another provider that is the same price: Alarm Relay. They do have what I consider to be one advantage over NextAlarm... they are the ones who are actually monitoring your alarm. NextAlarm actually just subcontracts it out to various central stations. But Alarm Relay doesn't offer the broadband adapter for those VoIP users that want to use it, and I don't know if they have the online history that NextAlarm has. |
