Slomins is one lie after another. Slomins is not family owned. Slomins is owned by investors and is ran by a guy with a different last name because he married into it. Then the other management is a bunch of his pals that have zero knowledge or experience in the industry. The guy that said they have legit management is an idiot. I have had experiences with all the Slomins offices and I know this for a fact. Nobody cares about anything except for you to sign the contract. Then they don't care because they will sue you.

SLOMINS supposedly works on a VOIP LINE????? SLOMINS IS CUTTING EDGE????!?!??!?!??! This is the same napco system that you could buy 20 years ago. The voip stipulations are stated in the contract. You lose power or internet and your system is gone!!!  Most of Slomins management doesn't even have Slomins. Most of their salesman don't either. They offer no deals for employees and all of this just makes sense- IT IS A BOGUS DEAL. Yes slomins does a lot of business but they go after the lower income people and offer low credit scores. The only they care about is getting someone to sign a contract. ANYONE THAT SAYS ANYTHING DIFFERENT DOES NOT HAVE A CLUE. I am sitting here looking at changing my filter on furnace and to do this every couple months I have to take down the el cheapo siren from Slomins because the donkey tech put it directly under the vent door. All of my wiring in my garage is down the wall they didn't even snake the drywall so it is all eye sores. Not to mention anyone that every comes to my house can easily see where the power plug and everything is. THIS IS PATHETIC WORKMANSHIP and they get away with it because management can't directly talk to the techs because they are union.

So get this, I know a guy in DC who had a slomins system and someone kicked his door in and ripped the key pad off the wall. NOTHING HAPPENED. His home was robbed and Slomins Shield said the only thing they can do is sell him a new keypad so he can fulfill his contract. The system is old school. If you spend a couple thousand dollars with slomins and get the updated new stuff and then you had someone else install it other than their techs you might be alright- but then why do thru slomins for that? You have a 5 year contract still??? That will put a lien on your home. Here is the deal. It is 2009- If any of you have a little bit of common sense you will shop around. I can personally name 4 companies off the top of my head from experience that are better. I won't because I am not pitching for anyone- I am simply telling you that you would be better off getting robbed than going with SLOMINS SHIELD.
