Slomins is a scam that hooks you in to a 5 year contract.
Try reading their contract, it is all over the place just to the point that if you sign up you owe them 1600 dollars if you don't pay. Job loss, selling your home and new buyer doesn't want the system. There are many of reasons.
Slomins is not family owned!!!! Please know your facts before you blog. (Note from admin: This section of the site is for consumer submitted reviews, it is not a "blog"). Slomins is owned by investors and ran by a guy that married into the family. Their management is poor and that just trickles down the chain. I am a Slomins customer and our system is THE WORST. NAPCO GEMINI EQUIPMENT IS OLD. This is the same keypad that was in my house when I lived in FL 17 years ago. So keep your blogging to straight knowledge.
Slomins Shield is a bad decision and their salesman are forced to sucker people to get paid. This company is totally in business because of salesman that they have no respect for. That is poor business. I am sure when this company was owned by the old guy back in the 1920s things were different, but now is now. SLOMINS HAS ONLY BEEN DOING SECURITY FOR A FRACTION OF THE TIME THEY CLAIM. Yes slomins has been in business but they have not been doing security all that time.
