I had their service in one apartment and now in my home.
Their contract seems LONG. But I really can't complain about them. The only issue was when I went to Vonage VOIP, and a Dry Pair DSL. I have informed them of the change but I guess they were not up on their technology, because when I told the rep on the phone that the alarm box need to go through my router instead of a POTS Line. She said "Sure we can do that". Well, the tech came out and we told him what is needed. Thinking he has a VOIP box I can connect to my router. WRONG! He gave a blank stare and told me I need a cell phone backup unit as he was walking out the door. Now I been without a monitoring for over 2 weeks. I call them back and now I get the nasty rep. that said they need to send out another contract for the cell phone backup unit. After saying that I been without service for 2 weeks and now I have to wait for a contract form in the Mail. I ask if they can fax it, email it, fedex it. All NOPE! Well, after a month without service they finally got the unit installed. And I got all the time I was without service refunded.
All in all slomins is OK. But their alarm boxes and equipment are low end products. If you are looking for a good out of the box system with monitoring they they will be good for you. If you are looking for bells and whistles then I would look somewhere else.

I've been reading a lot of people are reactivating old alarm panels. Please don't do that. Regardless of what is there. You are still getting into a five year contact and all you are doing by reactivating a panel is save slomins money because now they don't need to give you that $100.00 alarm panel.
I told the tech when he came to install the alarm system 5 years ago that I don't want any of the old system used all new. He did use the old wiring.
