I used SaveOnMyAlarm for about 6 years.

At the beginning it wasn't bad, had some billing troubles, but they were resolved.  About a year and a half ago, I begain to get notices that my alarm was sending too much information and they were charging me $5 a month surcharge!  I called them about it and actually go to the point of cancelling (I wish I had) But I spoke to the "President" and they said they would fix it for free.  I got hold of a technician and they told me I had to fill in thier web form (which stated you are obligated to like 2 more years if you use this service)  They assured me that since I talked to the "President" that wouldn't apply.  WRONG!  I had some other problems with slow response etc. so I decided to cancel after another 6 months or so. 

That's when they hit me with the wammy, and told me I was commited to another year of service because of the "support" I received.  In my opinion, it wasn't support, they should have identified this problem when they initially set up the system!  After contacting the BBB and getting absolutely no assistance, I paid for another year of coverage and then disputed the charge on my credit card.  After another 6-8 months my credit card company gave up and gave me a refund.  About two months ago I sent the cancellation notification via certified mail as required.  I called this last week and they still had not acted on my request.  A few days later I finally got a zero balance bill and a cancellation notice. 

I just signed up with Alarm Relay and they seem great, and don't have all the "fine print" in their contract.  I've read reviews on them and they seem to be reputable.  I hope this review helps others!

3 Month Update:

I fired them and am very happy now with Alarm Relay they are wonderful!
