Despite management's rebuttal, Save on my alarm will try to get whatever money than from you by any means possible.
An honest company would allow dissatisfied customers to cancel by a simple phone call. An honest company may not give you your money back, but at least they will let you cancel.
Save On My Alarm will NOT let you cancel unless you go online or send them a certified letter with your social security number, otherwise, they won't cancel. Even then, they will continue to charge you for the 60 day advance period, or worse, continue until two years are up. Individuals in any case should not feel forced to give any company their SSN and I would strongly advise against doing so. But you need to or they will continue to charge you.
60 day advance notice is not required, but they do it to get more money. They were not successful in connecting my service, so there is no spouse that may accidentally cancel my NON-EXISTANT service with them.
Their digital diverters are worth 50$, if that, and yet they put a security deposit for four times that amount.
Their terms and conditions border on fraudulent. For instance, if you think they have breached any of the points in their contract, they have a term that states if you don't report the breach in 5 days by certified letter, the breach is waived. Most people, if they find a breach will find that their 5 days came and went. Their entire contract is written with the sole purpose to protect them and harm the consumer.
This company does not operate in good faith and will continue to charge you. Under no circumstances should anyone consider using their services, stay away!!
