This is a rip off company. They also go by saveonmyalarm.com and many other names.
Ron Cats and Dave Murphy are just plain dishonest in my opinion. They make it impossible to cancel, and their monitoring sucks in my opinion. Huge delays, missed alarms, and confusion is what they are all about. I read Rons Cats response about how they use certified mail etc. for security reasons. Don't believe it! They have set up a system to make it difficult to cancel and then they want your SS # sent over a non secure server connection. There needs to be a class action lawsuit against they guys. They switch dial in numbers, they miss alarm responses, they raise their prices mid contract, they are just horrible in my opinion. Don't use them, stay away. You get what you pay for. They are not worth $1.00.
The purpose of monitoring is piece of mind. You will get just the opposite from them. Big Big Rip Off!
3 Month Update:
Update on review. My opinion of this company has only gotten worse. In my opinion they are a total scam and do NOT provide the service they advertise at the price they quote. They make it very difficult to stay with them by changing reporting numbers, software etc. They raise their prices and make is very very difficult to cancel. The are basically a bait and switch company in my opinion and ever dealer and consumer should be warned to stay well clear of Ron Cats or any company he is involved with.
Maybe some attorney with time could start a class action lawsuit as I am sure there are hundreds if not thousands of people that have been ripped off.
