

Because I don't have a landline, I had few options for a security system.
GE's wireless system seemed like it would do the trick and for about 3 months, it did. Then I started having problems with the sensors. They would say the door or window was open but it wasn't (therefore I couldn't arm the system). The first few times I tolerated it and after a few phone calls they sent me a replacement sensor. The problem is that it is nearly all the sensors...it eventually got so bad that I just disable the sensor on my front door altogether.
Eventually I just stopped using the worthless and unreliable system. I called customer service today to just be rid of this company once and for all BUT there is no early termination fee! That's right--you CAN'T cancel once you're in. Please beware and don't bother with this company or at least stay away from the wireless system. I've had my system working for about 5 months...out of about 30. Not worth it in my opinion.
They really don't care if you're unhappy because once you sign up you're locked in for 36 months.
Hope this helps someone avoid the costly mistake that I made.
