

I just signed up for Protect America, three days ago after being robbed.
I did not do much homework on security companies beforehand and just happened to come across Protect America online. The salesman was very pushy and pretty much only told me what i wanted to hear. Still being very upset over being robbed days earlier I agreed to sign up for Protect America's services.
They shipped out the equipment very fast. However, when I began the self installation I called to test my alarm and the installation department was not available, which upset me since the man that sold me the system stated that they were there m-s from 8-11 cst.
I called on Saturday @ 8:00 pm est., I spoke with someone in the service dept. and they told me different hours of operation for the installation depart. and sch me for a phone call tomorrow between 8 and 12. I haven't even gotten my system installed and I already have a bad feeling about this company.
I am very seriously thinking of calling and canceling my services before it's too late. Oh and by the way the master monitoring panel they send you is huge, it looks like the worlds first answering machine. If I do keep it I will be embrassed for anyone to see it. Maybe i should follow my gut instinct and get out now. Stay tuned for updates.
