I just renewed my contract with Protect America in September, and I have to say we've never had any problem with them!
We got the system for free and it was shipped within 24 hours. I don't remember who I spoke with but she was extremely helpful in explaining all the different packages they had. I've referred one person so far to them, which got me a $200.00 credit on my account!! I'm trying to get my wife's parents to get one before I use the credit. You don't need to buy extra gadgets because even just the basic package comes with everything you need, but hey, I'm a guy so of course I want all the extra stuff, haha.
I definitely recommend Protect America because their system is free, they have the lowest monitoring rate of anyone, and you get free money for referring someone. They probably have the best system, too; we've never had any problems!
