This is this worst experience I have ever had with any company ever. When I tried to cancel after reading the contract within the so called cancellation period 4 days after installation July 28, 2009 I was given the run around until the time expired, it was mid August 2009 when I realized I was stuck in a contract that is completely unrealistic & unfair to any consumer. I was sold a internet package for an extra fee that I was never able to access, the company never provided me help.
Then a year later they sold my contract to a unknown company without any prior notice and I had no idea until I kept getting statements from a company named SAFE, I called to find out who are you? This became a bigger disaster cause the company sold me back to Platinum in January 2011, which Platinum insisted that I was behind with payments with the other company, so according to them I had to pay them $299.99 in back fees. The reps were rude & nasty and called constantly at my home twice a night me & my husbands jobs, it was crazy. I then had to pay my bank for several months of bank statements so that I could prove to them that I was not behind on payments, this is a mistake. This did not help, still Platinum continues to say Im behind. What tops the cake is my system has been broken since June 09, 2011, It is October 28/2011 it is still broken, I am still paying them and they have not monitored since June. All I get is the same crap!!!! We can't send anyone to fix your alarm until you pay $299.99. Over and over even after sending my info to proving my payments, I finally had to block them from calling my home, it became harrassment and did nothing to deserve this but get scammed by a slick talking salesman. Don't get caught consumers these people are crooks!!!!!!
