Here's how the sales force works...
They offer free hardware and installation of a wireless security system in return for a good testimonial. They also require that you display their security signage somewhere on your porperty.
What you're getting:
You will receive an incomplete security package that won't include all ground level points of entry nor will it include a smoke detector on every level of your home. (One smoke detector on the first level of a 4 story home is insufficient fire protection for a home of that size). The reason behind selling a minimal system is so they can sell you additonal hardware at a premium price.
Example: (Each additonal window will cost as much as $100.00 per window. If you have 10 windows on your ground floor that's an additional $1000.00 plus the technicians fee to install the additional hardware.
Here's where they get you...
In signing up for the program you are committing to a monthly fee of at least $47.00/month for a period of 60 months. (That's $3000.00 for 5 years). Most competitors charge on average $250.00/year. (That's a difference of $1,750.00 overpaid for the same services offered by many well known alarm and security systems competitors.
Please Note:
If you do not cancel within their 3 day cancellation window, you will be responsible to pay the monthly service charge for the entire 60 month time period. Buyers beware... If it sounds to good to be true,
it probably is.
