I just had the system installed yesterday. I can't really complain.
The sales man was not 20-something as some have claimed and neither was the tech. I'm still uneasy about my decision, which is why I made sure to ask all the right questions. They were answered clearly and honestly. By my request, I was shown where everything was stated on the contract. What makes this situation on easy is the fact that the company is so unfamiliar. I've never heard of this company. That is why I'm trying to find out as much as I can.
The installation time was a little unreasonable at first, but when I really think about it I'm glad they came right away to install. How else would I be able to try the alarm out before my three day window is up? I have called back the salesman and he is supposed to come to my home again tonight. I want him to clarify a couple of things that I didn't remember to ask and now I know after reading the other reviews. First, is my information going to be bounced around from company to company, (some of the reviews mentioned their accounts sold to other companies). Second, will I be charged for repairs. The equipment has a life time warrenty according to the contract, which means they will replace it, but they didn't mention who pays them for coming out to make any reapairs or replacements. Everything else was covered.
I admit that I gave the saleman a hard time. I kept a serious look the whole time. I came up with every hypothetical situation I could think of. I am a woman and for some reason people think we are the easy prey to sell this type of product too. Well, I refuse to be pushed around. I want answers and I want it in writing.
I hope I have not made a bad decision. Luckily I still have time to turn back. Still, this is something my family needs and it is also the most affordable compared to ADT and BRINKS.
