This company is not to be trusted!!! The service is horrible and the customer service department is even worse. Do not fall for anything these people tell you.
The same day my alarm was installed it never worked properly. I started getting phone calls from the company right after installation telling me that were getting some kind of notice that the key fob wasn't working. I asked them what the problem was and they told me they didn't know. The alarm also started going off on certain times of the day every minute until I put my code in. This went on for a month.
Then I finally got the same person who installed the system to come back out and he told me I didn't need a new key fob, that he left the system in some kind of test mode and that was what the problem was. Then it worked for a month until one day my power went out and it started doing the same thing all over again. I called again and they told me again that it was a problem with the key fob.
I have gotten no help from these people at all and been shifted around through Platinum to Monitronics and yet no one will fix the system. I finally disconnected the system myself and have refused payment until they fix it. They even went as far as contacting my emergency contacts trying to get ahold of me. I will not pay for a service that has not worked since installation. This is the worst service ever!!!!
Do your homework people before you agree to anything. This company does not care about your safety they only care about getting their money.
