Review For Pinnacle Security (Con't)
Pinnacle Security is based in Utah, but have clients across the country. This is another alarm company known for their door to door sales technique. Pinnacle's monitoring is provided by alarm.com, SAI (Security Associates International) and ADT. Therefore, Pinnacle will install your system, but your alarm will be monitored by a different company. If you have had a good or bad experience with a particular alarm company, please submit your review! Reviews are only edited for spam and/or vulgar language. Thanks for submitting!

This company is not a scam or ripoff. We as consumers need to take more responsibility for how we research companies before we sign a three year contract.
I am a former Pinnacle salesmen and a customer. My alarm works great and ADT comes over the monitor and speaks to us direct. The salesmen is where all of these problems are stemming from. I was taught to run over any and everyone and do anything to get the sale. I was taught how to be very good at redirection so that I could confuse the customer when they had an objection about the alarm. Every time the customer would bring up an objection I would redirect them into a random conversation or another piece of equipment I had not mentioned yet. The company has an F rating with the BBB and is in numerous lawsuits with almost every state they sell in. I am not talking about civil lawsuits but they are pending lawsuits with numerous state's Attorney General's Office. I see the same recurring theme when I search about Pinnacle online. It's a scam. The thing is the contract is bullet proof and the equipment they give out free works, but not as great as the salesmen tell you.
The company is not a scam. I believe they have a great business plan but need to get rid of 3/4 of all the sales reps and start over. They need to become an ethical company. The reason I left was when I realized Pinnacle will hold anyone and everyone to the signed contract regardless of the circumstance. Sales reps lie all the time to customers so there must be a better way for Pinnacle to do Quality control. I have personally seen a sales rep tell the customer who had ADT that Pinnacle was the new upgrade company and were sent out to their home to get a free upgrade with a new Pinnacle contract. Now I have a problem when the customer finds out that they are now responsible for two monthly payments for multiple alarms. Pinnacle should let people out of their contract if they are mislead or lied to by the sales rep. Yet the salesmen keep lying and using dirty sales tactics and Pinnacle refuses to refund anyone.
I love my alarm, I hate the salesmen and hate the fact that I was one, but in no way is this a scam.
