Review For Pinnacle Security (Con't)
Pinnacle Security is based in Utah, but have clients across the country. This is another alarm company known for their door to door sales technique. Pinnacle's monitoring is provided by alarm.com, SAI (Security Associates International) and ADT. Therefore, Pinnacle will install your system, but your alarm will be monitored by a different company. If you have had a good or bad experience with a particular alarm company, please submit your review! Reviews are only edited for spam and/or vulgar language. Thanks for submitting!

First, I want to correct a review from 9/09. Castle Rock did NOT buy out Pinnacle. I don't know if they bought out SAI but I DO know that they bought some contracts off SAI. I am one of those customers whose contract got bought out by Castle Rock. I hope people realize that if you have a problem with the monitoring it ceases to become a Pinnacle issue.
I also work for Pinnacle as an office manager so I get to hear the good and the bad from customers and employees alike. I have noticed that most complaints come from people who let themselves get seduced by sales reps and then think that by doing so they have no responsibility over their own actions. Lets remember that sales reps are just doing their job! They are supposed to entice you with a great product that you may have otherwise overlooked the same way a car salesman tells you how great you look in a convertible, a cashier tells you what a steal toothpaste is today, or a store clerk lets you know the perfect purse to match the shoes you're getting. As a customer it is YOUR responsibility, and yours alone, to READ every last word of any paper you sign no matter how lengthy it may be. Listen to EVERY word told to you and ask as MANY questions as necessary until you understand EVERYTHING. A sales rep has to explain the system and the contract many times in one day- he knows what's going on. The customer is most likely caught off guard- don't make that an excuse.
About the 'rude' and 'condescending' employees... every company has them just as every company has excellent employees that will go the distance to help out. Have you ever had a day where you spill your lunch on your clothes, step on dog crap, get stuck in the rain walking home and at the end of the day realize you had spinach in your teeth all day? Would you stop going out to avoid another bad day? Probably not. If you encounter a few bad apples you shouldn't completely boycott the whole company.
Last but not least- if you want time to research the company by all means do so through reputable sources. Current customers, BBB, and sites that show both sides of the story. And keep in mind that most people are quick to voice a complaint and slow to shoot a compliment. That's just the truth.
