Pinnacle Security is based in Utah, but have clients across the country. This is another alarm company known for their door to door sales technique. Pinnacle's monitoring is provided by alarm.com, SAI (Security Associates International) and ADT. Therefore, Pinnacle will install your system, but your alarm will be monitored by a different company. This company is trouble and much more! The sales rep knocked on my property door on 8/17. My wife was very nice with him and unfortunately let him in.
When I came home from work I was promised the "best wireless service and customer service" with the package that I chose. Ten days after (Friday 8/28) my new alarm displayed a "low battery" message on all sensors. I tried to call customer service and technical support just to find out that NO ONE was available to help me. I called the next day their technical support just to be PATRONIZED by these people in Utah. Their response was "let me contact the tech person in your area and verify his availability to come and see you!" I replied that I needed a phone call follow up to find out when the tech person would come. NO ONE called me back! I finally called back again and spoke with the same person from the morning call who, once again, was very condescending and arrogant. I demanded a call back from the tech person in my area to come to my home and fix the faulty and defective equipment/instalation. My wife and I also called the sales rep THREE TIMES, leaving messages and never hearing back from him!
At 9:00 pm I got a call from someone that was in Newark, NJ (1.5 hours away from my residence) saying that he would come on Monday when he had time available! I completely flipped out and replied that this option was unacceptable and demanded him to come to my residence right away. In the meantime, my wife and I found out about this terrible company and the horrible reviews and complaints and realized that we were just another victim of this scam! He showed up at 11:00 pm and I immediately told him to removed the defective equipment, the signs in my yard and GET OUT OF MY PROPERTY!
I also made sure to call the POLICE and had an officer in my residence when this "tech person" was here to file a incident/consumer report to be part of my documentation. I will contact every agency that can help me to get out of this contract that I signed. I will not pay for any termination fees because I NEVER EVER had service from them in the first place. Please DON'T BUY YOUR SECURITY SYSTEM FROM PINNACLE.
