Pinnacle Security is based in Utah, but have clients across the country. This is another alarm company known for their door to door sales technique. Pinnacle's monitoring is provided by alarm.com, SAI (Security Associates International) and ADT. Therefore, Pinnacle will install your system, but your alarm will be monitored by a different company. I had the Pinnacle Alarm System installed on July10, 2009.
The alarm woke me up at 3 o'clock in the morning on Jul 11, 2009 beeping like crazy. I called and could not get an answer so, I stayed up listening the the beeping going on the rest of the night. I called again and no answer. Finally, at 8:30 I got a call from Pinnacle informing me they were getting a signal from my front door. They tried to walk me through the problem which they never did. I kept calling every day for about a week and they kept trying to talk me through the problem.
Finally, they realized the alarm was not completely installed and could not get a technician to my house for 2 to 3 weeks. I told them that was not acceptable and have not heard anything back from them. I faxed in the cancellation form and to this day, August 3, 2009 have not heard from them. I am upset because they have taken funds from my checking account (Unauthorized 2 times).
I am very disappointed with this company and they still do not acknowledge that I am still not being monitored. But, what do they care all they want is your money and that is not right.
