Review For Pinnacle Security (Con't)
Pinnacle Security is based in Utah, but have clients across the country.  This is another alarm company known for their door to door sales technique.  Pinnacle's monitoring is provided by alarm.com, SAI (Security Associates International) and ADT.  Therefore, Pinnacle will install your system, but your alarm will be monitored by a different company. If you have had a good or bad experience with a particular alarm company, please submit your review!  Reviews are only edited for spam and/or vulgar language. Thanks for submitting!

An alarm sales rep came to my door less than a week ago.

This alarm company rep knew exactly what kind of alarm system I had and the details of how the alarm worked.  He advised me that he was here to check the alarm panel to see if it worked properly, to check the batteries, and the components.  So that brought him inside my home.  He checked the system and asked if I had received remotes to control the alarm.  When I said no he said he would provide me with controls.  Also, he stated that the panel needed to be updated to a newer version.  I talked to this sales rep like if he was from my current alarm provider.  Since my current alarm provider had been bought out and names had changed in the past, it did not seem odd to me that the company had yet changed name again (to Pinnacle this time!).

By this time it was a late weeknight & needed to feed and put my school aged child to bed.  The sales rep continued by preping contract paperwork.  He advised he would be giving me - helping me out - by updating my panel and providing me with two controls at no cost!  Wow, what a deal....  As he wrote up what appeared as a contract he began to clarify that there was a monthly fee for the service provided. I advised him that I already pay a monthly service fee with my current alarm provider - Who are you???... He stated my contract with my previous service alarm company had expired.  He handed me a piece of paper and a pen asked me to write a note asking my previous alarm provider to cancel my service.  It seemed so odd, but he seems like he knew what he was talking about.  He was the company represenative.  He even wrote out an envelope with the address that this letter needed to be sent.  Well the story continues.

ALL - beware of this scam.  These Pinnacle Security Sales Reps are smooth talking reps that lure you in by giving updated equipment and fancy stuff. But later you will find that you will be stuck - as I am - with two monthly billings that are binded by contracts.  The Pinnacle Security company is not helpful in understanding.  They will not cancel the policy and will not revert even with less than a week notice!

Beware of the Scammers - Pinnacle Security.  This company lacks fair business integrity....
