Review For Pinnacle Security (Con't)
Pinnacle Security is based in Utah, but have clients across the country. This is another alarm company known for their door to door sales technique. Pinnacle's monitoring is provided by alarm.com, SAI (Security Associates International) and ADT. Therefore, Pinnacle will install your system, but your alarm will be monitored by a different company. If you have had a good or bad experience with a particular alarm company, please submit your review! Reviews are only edited for spam and/or vulgar language. Thanks for submitting!

Let me start off by saying that Pinnacle is a horrible and unethical company that lies and scams to get your business. They scammed my 84 year old grandmother. A door salesman told you that the original company First Line that installed her home security unit went bankrupt (that was the only truth he told her).
Then he went on to tell her that homes in cities outside of Sacramento like Modesto and Stockton were being broken into that had a First Line sign outside and they were targeting mainly those homes because thieves somehow knew that homes with First Line signs were not being monitored. They told her they bought First Line out and they needed to come in the house and "upgrade" her alarm equipment and she needed to sign a 39 month contract with Pinnacle so they would be monitoring her house. My grandmother was already being monitored by ADT. Nothing was wrong with her alarm. First Line going out of business had NOTHING to do with her home being monitored by ADT. They totally LIED to her.
Pinnacle lied and used scare tactics to steal an ADT customer. When I found out about this, I read her contract that she signed. It said she had 3 business days to cancel her contract. I also found out she had given them her VISA number to set up monthly payments of $44.00 for Pinnacle to monitor her home. I was livid to say the least. The very next morning I called Pinnacle and advised them to cancel her contract. I laid into them over the phone and gave them a huge piece of my mind. I told them exactly how shady they were and how I was furious! I faxed over a letter to cancel with my grandmother's signature. I advised them also that her Visa account has been closed that morning, to insure they don't try and take any of her money. The guy on the phone said he would have a tech call me to set up an appt to remove everything they installed. I have yet to hear from them. The worst part, now we have to pay ADT to come and re-program the unit that Pinnacle's tech unhooked. Please take this as a warning and RUN from anyone from Pinnacle. In fact, google Pinnacle Scams and read all about these scam artists. They especially prey on the elderly and scare them into signing these contracts by making them believe their safety is at risk.
Shame on you Pinnacle! What a disgusting so called company!
