Review For Pinnacle Security (Con't)
Pinnacle Security is based in Utah, but have clients across the country.  This is another alarm company known for their door to door sales technique.  Pinnacle's monitoring is provided by alarm.com, SAI (Security Associates International, recently bought out by Castlerock) and ADT.  Therefore, Pinnacle will install your system, but your alarm will be monitored by a different company. If you have had a good or bad experience with a particular alarm company, please submit your review!  Reviews are only edited for spam and/or vulgar language. Thanks for submitting!

So, I do wish I was not under contract with Pinnacle because I'd like to install more and their prices a too high. However, I've not had bad service. The contract length is way too long, but this was one of the first things the sales person told me after I said I was interested.

I had the system installed, and while the installer was there, I took the survey. The asked me if he'd cleaned my house one he finished installation. I told them that I was sure he would, and if he didn't, I would not mind because I was in the middle of a renovation anyway. The person conducting the survey asked to speak to the installer after that, and would not let the survey continue till he finished cleaning.

Later, Pinnacle called to test the system. I told them that it was not possible at the time. They asked when I'd like to schedule a test. I said, "I don't know. That part of the house is demolished and the system is disconnected." They told me they would clear it from the system, but in 45 days they would call me again no matter what notes are on my account. And they did.

At some point an payment didn't go through. I received a bill in the mail for a change. (I normally get notification that payment was successfully made in my e-mail.) It stated that I owed twice my normal amount. The card they had on file, (my omission) had expired. No late fee was charged, just the normal fee.

I've read the reviews, the BBB comments, and the government fillings against them. All of which makes me question Pinnacle's ability to provide service. However, I can't claim that I was ever lied to, or that I've had bad service. My only complaint in the contract length and the price.
