Review For Pinnacle Security (Con't)
Pinnacle Security is based in Utah, but have clients across the country. This is another alarm company known for their door to door sales technique. Pinnacle's monitoring is provided by alarm.com, SAI (Security Associates International) and ADT. Therefore, Pinnacle will install your system, but your alarm will be monitored by a different company. If you have had a good or bad experience with a particular alarm company, please submit your review! Reviews are only edited for spam and/or vulgar language. Thanks for submitting!

I was glad to see that my father was not the only one scammed by these people! I was out of the country on vacation and when I came back much to my shock - a Pinnacle sign was in the front yard and my current alarm company (i.e. Firstline) sign was laying on the ground. A sales rep came in and told my father our current security company had gone out of business - I saw they used this same tactic on another submitter. A few months ago, a sales rep from another company came by and tried the same tactic. My father being 82 years old bought whatever story the guy was selling.
I just got off the phone with their rep who is canceling the system, but will NOT pay to have the other system reinstalled and activated. This is going to cost us approximately $300.00! The customer service rep gave me some song and dance about questions they ask the homeowner to make sure they are clear about what is going on. At 82? According to the rep when my father was asked what security company he had, he said ADT. I laughed like crazy! That's NOT who we have and told the rep that the sales person would have known this because when they put THEIR sign in our front yard, it was right next to the sign of our current company which is NOT ADT! I don't think the rep liked that. I requested a copy of the transcript and he advised me that I needed to go to court to get it. Not a problem. I have friends who are attorneys.
I can just say this, stay totally clear of these people. The rep misrepresented this company and if that's how they have to get customers, that is pretty sad.
I'm very angry about all of this and if anybody knows of anything else we can do, let the public know!
