Review For Pinnacle Security (Con't)
Pinnacle Security is based in Utah, but have clients across the country. This is another alarm company known for their door to door sales technique. Pinnacle's monitoring is provided by alarm.com, SAI (Security Associates International, recently bought out by Castlerock) and ADT. Therefore, Pinnacle will install your system, but your alarm will be monitored by a different company. If you have had a good or bad experience with a particular alarm company, please submit your review! Reviews are only edited for spam and/or vulgar language. Thanks for submitting!

I had an awful experience from the beginning with this company. Two salespeople came to my door, and began with telling me that they were giving away alarm systems. I regret that I was foolish enough to believe this. After I signed up, I immediately found that the system didn't work. It would not turn off from the keypad, but luckily I was able to shut it off on the website. However, despite the fact that the alarm rang for over 15 minutes, I never received the guaranteed phone call advising me of this. I triggered the alarm three times with the same result. I immediately cancelled the account and waited for the company to contact me to come to retrieve the equipment. After receiving no call, I had to call them twice to schedule a person to come and retrieve the system. I scheduled an appointment, took time off work, and nobody came. Over 24 hours after the appointment window I received a call from a technician wanting me to come to my house right that minute so he could retrieve the system, which I could not do because I was at work. Nobody from Pinnacle ever called to reschedule the appointment. My account was charged the monthly fee twice after I had cancelled, both times I had to call to dispute the charge. Two weeks ago I started receiving calls from Pinnacle each day, which I ignored. Finally, when I did answer, they told me there was a balance on my account for the equipment. They said they would schedule a technician to come out, and I told them I was not willing to take time off work again to hope he would actually show up this time. The representative told me she would send a UPS mailing label a week ago. I have been anxiously awaiting its arrival. I finally called today, spent another 15 minutes on hold, and was told that the mailing label had not yet been sent. In summary, I have had to waste all kinds of time making phone calls to this company. I have taken time off work waiting for them. I have had unauthorized charges made to my bank account, and now I'm being told I still owe these crooks money. All of this because they came to my house, knocked on my door, deliberately deceived me, and sold me a system that never even worked from the beginning. This is a company that has problems from top to bottom. I wasn't going to complain on this site, but after my latest interaction I felt as though it was warranted.
