Pinnacle Security is based in Utah, but have clients across the country. This is another alarm company known for their door to door sales technique. Pinnacle's monitoring is provided by alarm.com, SAI (Security Associates International) and ADT. Therefore, Pinnacle will install your system, but your alarm will be monitored by a different company. I had this system installed in my home about 2 weeks ago.
Well, there was a break in at my home on last Friday. Did I receive a call...no! Was police notified...no! Was anyone on my emergency list notified...again the answer is no! Well the thieves "snatched" the panel from the wall. Monitoring company said they did not receive a signal, but the alarm was armed.
I contacted Pinnacle to get the system replaced, well no help there. The situation is a lose/lose one. I would have to pay them app. $200+ to replace the panel. Talked with cancellations, they informed me that I would be resposible for an additional month of monitoring or if I cancell the contract it would be approx. $1900.00! Ask for an CEO, no help. The reps "claim" they don't know the phone number, or the email adddress.
Never the less, legal help is on the way.
