Pinnacle Security is based in Utah, but have clients across the country.  This is another alarm company known for their door to door sales technique.  Pinnacle's monitoring is provided by alarm.com and SAI (Security Associates International).  Therefore, Pinnacle will install your system, but your alarm will be monitored by a different company. So when I first signed up with them, over a year and a half ago I had no problems whatsoever. We were told moving would be no problem (we are a military family and only got the system because we knew my husband would be deployed after we moved), the new system would be installed within a week, two at the most. So I have now had the system inside my house for a month!!!!! And guess what...no monitoring whatsoever.

My husband is livid, nothing like being deployed not being able to take care of your family and an alarm company stiffing you like this. Unfortunately we already signed the contract just to get them to come out here and to cancel the old one for our other house. I am so upset. When the first person came out a week and a half ago to finally install my alarm, when he went to have it turned on they told him to leave immediately and not do anymore work. I was already on the phone arguing with them to issue me a credit for the two months that I had paid for. I did get that taken care of but only after I started crying on the phone when they told me I now had to deal with ADT in order to have my system monitored. I could call ADT after Feb. 25.

So I called them on the 27th, figured I give them an extra day to make sure it was all put together and stuff. They sent someone out on Saturday the 28th to look at the system. She tells me I need to sign a new contract with them because they don't use the pinnacle contracts. So together we call Pinnacle and speak with someone in tech support because they are the only department open on a Saturday. When I do this, I find out that as of the 27th, they've decided that they are no longer sending my account to ADT and they are going to redispatch it out to have one of their people have it activated. I am so angry and upset at this point I don't know what to do. I do know that I am calling today to speak with the cancellation department, telling them that they have failed to install the alarm in a timely manner therefore I want it cancelled as of the day it started at no cost to me. I am so done and over this company. My husband is defending our country and I can't even get a freaking alarm so that I can sleep at night knowing our three children are safe!

Don't deal with Pinnacle if you are military and will be moving within your three year contract!!!!!!!
