LaserShield Systems offer an "all in one" proprietary wireless alarm system (in basic and pro versions) that you can order online and install yourself.  Cellular backup and life safety equipment (i.e. smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors, etc.) are available.  If you choose the pro version, surveillance cameras can also be added.  Central station monitoring is subcontracted to Rapid Response, a seperate company.  (FYI, you may want to learn more about  "all in one" wireless security systems here before proceeding).  Some may confuse LaserShield with LifeShield (formerly InGrid) because of their similar

sounding names.  However, they are seperate companies each using completely different equipment.  Another big difference between LaserShield and LifeShieldLaserShield: landline based central station monitoring.  LifeShield: choice between central station monitoring, or "self monitoring" using the web, cell, or smart phone.  Both of the LifeShield options are IP based.
