Recent Review For 5 Star Security: 5 Star Security out of Northern Virginia area has completely designed their contract to get money from those who subscribe, those who cancel their monitoring and those who never even get a minutes worth of monitoring. Our system was NEVER activated, not one minute, (plus we canceled immediately and appropriately) yet we were charged 3 full years price of monitoring from a collection attorney. 5 Star Security out of Northern Virginia takes people to court because he has cleverly constructed his contract to trap the unsuspecting consumer. Beware and Be Aware. We heard that he also had someone arrested over a small claims case.

Protection Services

Recent Review For Protection Services: We recently had a Security System installed by Protection Services. We had ADT in our last home and found their service to be aweful. It was intalled by a dealer who had young college kids from Utah going through the neighborhood. We will NEVER do that again.  I was reffered to Protection Services who offered us free equipment and free installation with a monitoring rate of about a dollar a day including full warranty and two-way voice commuciation with central station that we really like.  The real kicker for us was they have since assigned a technician to our account. This happens to be the same man who installed our system. We have contacted him 3 times and he has been wonderful. I/we have never received this kind of service before. We LOVE the idea of having our "own" tech ready to help us in a moments notice.  We are very pleased with this Company and would recommend them highly.  We reside in Woodstock Virginia.
