Recent Review For Eagle Alarm Systems: (Added Dec 23/10) I kept getting advertizing calls from Eagle Alarm Systems so I had their rep come to the house and show me a better system than I had. I pacifically explained to the guy that I wanted my window monitored and the doors with a motion sensor. He assured me that I would have everything installed as I wanted and my copy of the paperwork shows 3 windows to be secured. The installation guy comes and uses the same wiring as my old alarm system, put a new pad in and leaves. He even tried to take my old alarm box and key but when I told him that was my property he laughed and gave it back. I mentioned to him that my windows were not set up and he said it was not in his paperwork and I would have to call the alarm company. So I call Eagle Alarm Systems and the owner assures me that he will have it fixed and send an installer out immediately. Well two months later and numerous phone calls I still don't have my windows secured and I am paying twice as much for the same type of alarm system as I had before. All your going to get with these guys is a bunch of lip. Shop around is my best advice.

Recent Reviews For VMS Alarms: (Added May 3/11) love my alarm. Easy enough for the kids to use but advanced enough for me to monitor it from my blackberry. Very affordable. The installer was great he set up diffrent pin codes for me and my kids so I can see when they get home from school ect. Worth the investment for sure.

(Added May 1/11) I've had a great experience with this company and highly recommend them. I saw their website on a google search and it was very informative. They have local crime stats, an article database, and all sorts of tools to learn about home security. So at this point, I already really felt good about them because they were all about educating customers. By the time I called them, I had decided exactly what equipment I wanted and the gentleman on the phone was very polite and helpful and the system was installed two days later. I really like the functionality of the system and how customizable it is (I went with the XT). It's a very high quality alarm.

(Added May 1/11) I had problems in the past with ADT and other companies because of my credit history and VMS was the first company that I spoke with who would give me a alarm without a huge charge up front. vanessa was very helpful and the system works well and I am quite happy with my experience from the beginning with Vms

(Added March 9/11) I've had a system with VMS Alarms for 3 years. My contract ran out last month and so I was shopping around to try to find a better deal I got the run around from a lot of companies but the bottom line every time is that vms was always the best combo of price and quality. The people in the service department are great too they were very helpful when I was remodeling and had to move some of the equipment. I had to pay a service call charge but it was pretty reasonable. I had Ryan for both the install and the service and he did a really nice job, I highly recommend him.
