Recent Review For Integrated Alarm Services: (Added <Apr/08) RE: Integrated Alarm Services, NY - alarm monitoring renewed automatically for 3 additional years - unable to cancel service due to contract extension we were not aware of.  We are getting billed on our Visa by Integrated Alarm Services, Inc., a company in New York. They are somehow related to Morlyn Financial Group, LLC.  Anyone know how to get out of this contract?? Alicia

(Added July 4/11) We used Security Alarms on the recommendation of very good friends.We have had the system for at least 15 years. We highly recommend this locally-owned company. The owner, Mr. Steve Yando, installed and maintains the system himself. While it was relatively expensive, there were no hidden costs for this hard-wired system with the main components in different locations and multiple keypads, "panic buttons" and other extras.The central monitoring station responds promptly.Skip the heavily advertised national companies--go for the highly skilled, friendly local company.

Recent Review For Lowitt Alarms and Security: (Added Dec 26/10) Located in Hicksville N.Y. (Long Island) I was a tech with them during a period of tremendious growth and hard work. I could not possibly have gotten a better education any where else. I worked with Peter Lowitt and Mark Spechler for about 10 years where I was taught the correct way to do things and to treat customers and assosiates. I've carried these lessons with me throughout my carreer and have never lost a night of sleep after doing the right thing. It's going to take some research and understanding of the changes within the industry.  I'm finding that many companies truely don't know what makes a system good or bad and don't neccessarily care that much. I'm appalled at what sales people get away with in the name of security. If you ask me I will get you my honest assessment of the situation so that you can decide for yourself. I have thirty years experience to rely on to help you get what you need from reputable and proffessional crafts people. Just talk to me. It costs nothing but a few minutes. If you don't like what you're told then disregard it with nothing to loose.
