Recent Review For Prowire Alarms: (Added June 6/08) Prowire is a small local company that installs Honeywell First Alert products.  I could not be happier with my security system.  I was able to bypass the fly-by-night deals of large national chains that offer you a small up-front cost but then require to sign a long term monitoring contract at almost forty dollars a month.  Prowire, being small and local, offered me personalized service.  They where professional and honest about their pricing.  I felt that they were trying to build a relatoinship not just make a sale.

Recent Review For GSSC: (Added Dec 13/11) I wanted to take a moment and provide a review on my new alarm system. My home was broken into in late Sept 2011 and I started looking at alarm systems. I didnt have much experience in them so I called GSSC and spoke with Rob. He educated me regarding the options, came out to my house for an assessment, and submitted a proposal for me to review. I was surprised at how comprehensive and inexpensive the options were that were proposed. I gladly accepted the proposal and within days I had my installation appointment done. I was thrilled with the product, as well as the knowledgeable installation specialist. Everything went smoothly and he had me go through the process of arming/disarming until I was comfortable with how it worked. I sleep better at night, am more focused while at work during the day, and wish I would have done this proactively rather than reactively as it would have saved me a thousand dollars of lost property and insurance deductible. Thank you for your support both to GSSC and to Rob for making the process so easy. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (Added Aug 15/11) I shopped around for alarm systems after our home got broken into in May.  I did a TON of research and got quotes from many companies.  I narrowed it down to 2 companies (ADT and GSSC).  I then kinda pitted them against each other to get the lowest price.  It was funny, the salesman (more like a kid) from adt looked all flustered when I asked him if that was the best he could do on the price, then went out to his car and called his boss for like 20 minutes and came back in with 5.00 cheaper per month and some rebate I would have to send in to get money off on the system.  I asked the salesman Jeremy from GSSC if this was the best he could do, and he looked me square in the eye and said "yes, it is".  His price was already better but his confident demeanor is what I kinda want to see from someone who is supposed to be protecting my family.  It helps that he also knew his stuff, could answer all of my questions and was clearly more experienced and in tune with what we needed.  Installation went smoothly and everything works as promised.  I reccommend them. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (Added Oct 5/10) GSSC is the best security company I have used in my 48 years.  I have had ADT in the past and was consistantly getting increases in my monitoring fees.  I would call and ask why and they would give me the run around and tell me that it is in my contract that they can raise my rates after the first year.  I also found out that I did not own my ADT system.  I was fed up with ADT and made several calls to local security companies and found GSSC.  They came out and did a site survey and found that ADT did not protect me with perimeter protection and showed me so I could see first hand that I had a large whole in my security.  Imagine how upset I was after paying over $40 every month for 2.5 years to find out I was not even realy protected.  GSSC gave me 6 months FREE monitoring so that I could get out of my contract with ADT.  They installed a new system that was owned by me, not leased like the ADT system. And they protected my entire home, not leaving a large area unprotected like ADT did in my lower level. The sales person was professional and very knowledgable, the installer was also professional and very neat leaving my home clean after the install.  Unlike ADT who left my home a mess with drywall dust evey where and even a few screws in my carpet downstairs that I ended up sucking up in my vacume and having to have it repaired.  GSSC had always contacted me when my system has gone off, and have been very kind in answering any questions that I may have. I feel safe and highly recomend them if you want a good system and great service.
