Recent Reviews For Action Integrated: (Added Dec 16/11) I have had work done by Action Integrated Systems for three properties since 1985. They were intimately involved in the early planning for the security and entertainment systems. Their expert knowledge lead to great professional installations and comprehensive systems to meet my present and anticipated future equipment integration needs. Staff are knowledgeable, on time and customer friendly. I highly recommend this company for either a small job or a larger complex installation for your security and entertainment needs! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (Added Nov 17/11) ACTION INTEGRATED is one amazing residential and commercial security provider! There attention to detail must be second to none in the industry. Their entire team of professionals (staff and technicians) really make me feel that I am part of their company family. The president, John Chetelat, lives and breaths this stuff and genuinely cares about his customers being fully protected from any potential loss due to fire, theft, etc. They installed my residential security system in 1992 and it has worked almost flawlessly since that time. Now that's what I call an impressive track record. The one time I required service, they were at my door the next day. Most importantly, their tech performed the service in short order and didn't dirty up my white Berber carpet in the process. I would refer these guys to anyone, anywhere, any time! Thanks Action Team!! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (Added Sep 20/11) If ever there was a company in the Washington D.C./Baltimore MD areas deserving of accolades for providing to this homeowner both a specialized as well as critical service, hands up or down, it would be Action Integrated. Moreover, I can honestly opine the following: Since my original dealings with Action Integrated (1984), both its C.E.O. as well as employees, e.g., secretaries, technicians, alarm central specialists, etc. have all demonstrated with much zeal total commitments to customer satisfaction. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (Added Aug 24/11) We have had service with Action Integrated for eleven years.  In fact, they were involved early in the final planning of our new house's wiring scheme.  Because of this early use of their wiring knowledge, our house was able to be effectively wired both for improved functionality and protection.  My wife and my dealings with them over the years have always been pleasant,and they have always been very effective in their delivery of both upgrades/maintenance and emergency services.  I can rely on their expertise and their professional knowledge regardless of the situation.  I'm definitely impressed that when I call there is always a person not an answering machine that answers, and my questions are answered either by the person that picked up the call or an answer is given by a technical support person then or on a call back.  The company consistently is responsive; takes time to explain what is going on with my system; tests the system for operational effectiveness either remotely or in person; and always shows a concern for me as a customer.  This customer focus extends throughout the entire staff from the top down.  A recent problem caused by the telephone company generated two calls to me after I had inquired about a code that appeared on my control box - one from a tech who very patiently guided me through a series of tests to determine whether the fault was in the alarm system or the telephone system; later, after working hours, I received a call from the president of the company asking if the problem had been fixed by the phone company and gave me an alternate way of still arming the alarm to protect my home.  These events were an excellent example to me of the dedication to full service and customer satisfaction that permeates the organization, a rarity in today's world.  Though not a big name in the home security industry, Action Integrated nevertheless knows how to do all that is necessary and do it well.  I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone with the assurance that they would receive the benefit of excellent service and competency. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (Added Aug 14/11) We have been dealing with Action Integrated(formerly Action Alarm) for about 25 years.  They pre-wired the house for an Alarm System while it was being built. Over the years we have had the system modified as well as periodically checked.  Our latest modification was in July of 2011 when we discovered that they had a medical monitoring system which is very similar to Medic Alert in all aspects except price.  It is cheaper primarily because there is no additional monitoring fee. The medical monitor is covered by the regular monthly fee which by the way is significantly less that most systems.  We have always found Action Integrated to be responsive to our changing needs. The company's personnel from office staff to programmers to installers have always been prompt, courteous, and friendly but professional.  We would encourage anyone who is interested in a home monitoring system to consider Action Integrated and certainly to contact them if you are dissatisfied with your current system.  We hear it said often that customer service is dead.  This has not been our experience with Action Integrated. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (Added March 18/11) We moved from Europe and had no previous relationship with a US provider.  The previous owner used Action Integrated so we used them. They checked our system and, where the phone company failed in their line checks, Action took over to make things work.  Action made sure we had the right equipment and checked the functionality. They did this quickly, efficiently and professionally.  We had an incident the first night and Action responded immediately.  You might say, as coming from Europe we have nothing local with which to compare Action, but, contrary to what many Americans think, Europe is far ahead technologically in many aspects. Action is a very "personal" company and has given us much comfort in knowing they care for our security. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (Added Jan 3/11) Action Integrated in Maryland: This company took over my existing HAI multizone security and fire alarm system for monitoring, and they had to do supporting programming. They were extremely professional, kowledgable about the system and well informed on its programming and operating requirements, the programming was done very efficiently, and their pricing was equal to that of other companies who clearly had no idea what they were doing with an HAI system. All of my calls were returned promptly, the appointments were kept on time, no excuses or delays, everything worked as promised, no surprises. No issues about pricing, contract charges, etc., all of that was just as expected and the programming charges were very reasonable --no hidden charges. You really cannot ask for more than the pleasant, expert, fairly priced service this company delivers. It is actually a pleasure to recommend a company that so well deserves the best recommendation. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (Added Dec 12/10) Action Alarm (Action Integrated) of Baltimore, MD installed our alarm system over 14 years ago.  They have been wonderful to deal with for everything -- billing, updates, customer assistance, office staff, alarm reaction, etc.  The ease of the initial (hard-wired) install in an older home and updates over the years due to new windows and doors, was accomplished in a timely and competent manner.  Since we are moving out of state, we are sad to have to discontinue our service.  We would highly recommend Action Alarm (Action Integrated) to anyone requiring excellent service for their security alarm needs.  We wish we could take them with us to Florida! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (Added <Apr/08) In 1994, we had our new home pre-wired and the security system was designed, installed and monitored by Action Alarm Systems Corp. Until we moved in 2007, we continued to have Action Alarm as our monitoring and maintenance company. They were polite, professional, reasonably priced and HONEST (wow, is that rare around Maryland).  We would not hesitate to recommend ACTION to anyone for their security system and monitoring needs!

(Added May 3/11) Has anyone in the DC metro area, or the Georgia area ever had any good or bad ratings of Ackerman Security?  It's been in business since 1967 and new to the DC area for over a year.  (Editor: Please Reply by Submitting a Review)
