Like you I was duped.  After several garage break-ins, the well mannered young man who was so far from home knocking on my door was God sent.

My first question to him was WHAT KIND OF RELIEF CAN I GET FROM WORRING ABOUT MY DETACHED GARAGE. He explained that a SENSOR will serve my purpose well, since the SENSOR will detect any movement inside the garage. It didn't take long before I was a Firstline customer. Trouble started immediately. A repairman was sent by SAI to correct my problem (Fristline would not answer the phone, or would leave you on hold for hours so I called SAI) to my amazement he informed my husband and I that Fristline was out of business but we would still be montored by SAI.

I suspected that around mid October 2008, that I was not being monitored properly, but didn't call SAI until January 2009, the Sensor no.5 which is assigned to the garage was not working. A call to the technical support 1st had me replace the batteries, the problem was still there. I called SAI the next day to inform  them that the problem was not resolved. I talked to technical support, who tested and tried to clear the problem but couldn"t. I was told that they"cannot correct my problem and there was NOTHING they could do, my contract is over July 2010, and I am responsible for payments until then."

We are seniors, our garage was the main concern for alarm protection, I feel that since I am not getting the full service of the monitoring system my contract should be provoked so I can get the service I need. Not only was I duped by Fristline, the monitoring company is charging for service the cannot provide.....

Oh yes I am located in Chicago, Ill.
