Firstline Security is one of the larger "sub-dealer" alarm companies. That means if you become a Firstline client, your system will be installed by Firstline, but monitored by a different company. Depending on where you live, you could be monitored by Alarm.Com, Monitronics, or Counterforce.

My husband was approached with a salesman at our home, informing us if we were an advertising home we would pay nothing as long as we kept the sign in our front yard.
I told the guy that our street was at a dead end and that we did not get alot of traffic and he said that it did not matter, as long as we kept the sign in our front yard, we would get the service for free. I informed him that there is never "Free", he said we would be billed a monthly monitoring fee and we would be reinbursed monthly for that fee. All we had to do is give him our checking account so the monthly fee can be taken from the account and we would receive a monthly reinbursment. Well, we had more then one fee taken from our checking account. When I tried to reach Firstline to find out what was going on, they put me on hold for 20 minutes and then diconnected me. I have tried many times to reach this company with no success. I feel real bad because we have recommeded them to a few friends who have used them.
My warning now is stay away from this company!
