I have had CSG for 18 months now and have only had 1 problem with the system, a contact fell off my back door about 6 months ago, I called the company and they sent out a tech 2 days later and it was fixed. Fast response time. I got a great deal on the system; I paid 99.00 bucks for a wireless system plus two key-phobs and $32.95 a month for the monitoring.
I have read some of the other reviews stating that CSG is a shady company because they did not know about the renewal clause, this is not the companies fault, but the subscribers for not reading the contract in full and or understanding the terms by which he or she was agreeing to. My sales rep. was very informative on the fact that there was a 3 year contract, with a renewal clause built in that could be canceled with a 30 day notice and I had shopped around anyways before deciding to go with this company and came to find out that this is a common practice in the alarm industry, "so most alarm companies must be shady?"
As for service, and a quality system, plus a great monitoring rate that includes warranty, CSG gets my number 1 vote and recommendation. If you don't like CSG than I would recommend you stay far away from ADT and Brinks because those guys are the real crooks, they will sell you the same equipment and same type of monitoring service at a premium price and tell you it's better and much more expensive, do your homework and good luck.
