Recent Review For Broadview Home Security:
As of June 30, 2009, Brink's Home Security will officially be known as Broadview Security (You can read about the details here: Big changes at Brink's) Like Brink's, Broadview uses a sub-dealer program in areas where they have no corporate presence. This means that a local company will install and service your alarm, and Broadview will monitor it. Therefore the review listed here may not be for or against corporate Broadview, but a completely independent local dealer. If you submit a review, please indicate whether the review is regarding Broadview corporate, the local company who installed your system, or both.

I was a former ADT customer for 7 years.
I decided to switch to Broadview because ADT was bothering me non-stop when I sold my house and took an apartment. For 2 years they kept calling and bugging me; when I purchased a new home this summer I decided to not go with ADT because of their telemarketing pressure.
So far I am happy with Broadview. I think the alarm could be a lot louder. It is pretty soft and while it would wake me, I am sure no one outside the home will hear it.
A different issue - the Broadview TV spots are starting to anger me. Apart from the scare tactics, it is always white on white crime that is shown. Notice it is always a white woman, girl, or mother and child settling in when a white male attacks and busts in the door. This is RACIST. If I were an enterprising lawyer I would file a lawsuit. Perhaps even a class suit and all Caucasians could be in the represented class.
Broadview, I like your service, but hate your commercials.
