I am currently waiting for Brinks to come to install my system. I had orginally phoned ADT where I was given a quote of $587 for my system and $42.99 a month. I said I wanted it. Then I spoke to others who said they had their alarm systems installed for just the installation fee and that their monthly fee was a lot less.
I called around for quotes and found out that ADT was the only one wanting a large payment for the equipment. And they charged more than other companies for the monthly fee. Their ads don't mention buying equipment and usually quote $32.99 as their monthly fee. The people at Brinks also explained what they would be doing and how it all works much better than ADT.
