We have had Bay Alarm since 1997. We have had two different homes and have always used Bay. We have always gone "full boat" on our alarm systems. We have all windows & doors, fire detection, motion, multiple key pads, remote car based keypads etc.
We had one false alarm in 12 years. It was cause by a rodent chewing through an alarm wire in our basement. It was covered within hours with no charge because we pay for the service protection monthly.
We couldn't be happier with Bay Alarm's service, quality or the features of our alarm. Response time has always been excellent and we have never had a break in due in large part to all of the free signs and window stickers that they provide. They come around periodically and give you new signs and stickers as they fade over time.
The only challenge is Bay is the most expensive or tied with the most expensive alarm service (Brinks) in our area.
I would not hesitate recommending Bay Alarm to anyone. They are a family owned business not a franchise. Every person from sales, to service, installation to monitoring is a Bay Alarm employees. They are all background checked. There is no contracting out of services (like ADT).
I can't really understand all the negative comments. Seems like their may be some employees of other companies posting negative comments. I have NEVER encountered a friend, neighbor or business owner that has ever had anything but good things to say about Bay Alarm.
You can pretty much make the decision, set the bill on "bill pay" and forget knowing that you are covered.
