APX will install your alarm, but your monitoring will be provided by Security Associates International (www.sai-inc.com), who operate two monitoring centers in the U.S. (Pompano, FL, and Arlington Heights, IL). If you don't take anyone's word for it. Take mine... I've done the trials, I've done the checks and the research. APX IS THE BEST!
Ryan Keil showed up at my door LATE. I'm a former Marine and now a Federal Officer, my wife is Army Active Duty and we have 3 small children and really don't have time or patience for Door-to-Door sales. But, this was one of the best things I could have done for myself and my family.
I'm very technologically advanced and love new tech. Ryan really wasn't a Salesman per say. I'm a salesmen. He just believed in his product and was very sincere. That's what sold me(Which is VERY hard to do). I didn't even let him in my house until his installation tech showed up(After only 30 minutes of saying YES)and I was able to inspect the quality of the panel. The equipment and technology of the system is astounding and even though it was somewhat of a inconvenience for them to install it that night. I was very impressed with the time frame in which the installation took place and the workmanship. The tech was also a Ryan (Fredrickson I believe). He was like a little machine running all around the house doing all kinds of different stuff. I know cause I followed him everywhere.
I messed with the system a little and made some mistakes on it. I called that night and in not even 1 ring I got a VERY knowledgeable and friendly customer rep. who helped me fix the system over the phone and I didn't even need to do anything. Since, I've called several additional times, spoke to all different reps. and all have been exactly what the first rep was. Professional, courteous and VERY knowledgeable and informative. I've since done additional research after the fact and have come across more pro's then Con's about everything. NO ONE has the technology in their basic system like APX, for just a little extra a month.
Here's how I look at it. They put in more then $2,000 worth of equipment, I priced it all in comparison. For $50. a month. $50. a month, $600. a year X 3 years is only $1,800. toward paying the system. Making the Monitoring Free. I see the value in it considering the equipment is high quality.
This company has come a long way and I would recommend them to anyone. Overall. APX earns a 5 out of 5 from me and my family and I'll sell their systems for them to all my family and neighbors. However. My checking account has not been charged yet. I already received monies for referrals. We'll see if they charge the proper amount or not. With that, they would be flawless in my book. I'll keep you posted, because I feel you have a right to know.
