Find another company!  We were lied to from the start. 

Promised a total of ten sensors, motion detector, and glass break detector ...both my dh and I spoke to the same salesman on different occasions and were made the same promises.   When the installer arrived ... he was three short of what were were promised-----------and we were told we must pay an additional $180!  When we refused, he called the original salesman and was told we weren't getting the ten for the price quoted, and if we didn't want the 7 ....for the installer to pack up and leave!

I spoke with customer support, who agreed to give me the orginal number of sensors promised.  Also my $99 installation fee would be waived for my "experience."

The installer attempted to hook up the control panel, but at&t were having issues with towers, so we were rescheduled for the following Saturday.  The installer left a glass break detector with us ... saying that since we had purchased a glass break detector - the company was having so many issues with "false alarms" - he wasn't really suppost to install them, but he would for us , since we were promised our system would include glass break protection.  When he returned Saturday to complete the install, he informed us that he would be fired if he installed glass break... so he took the breakage detector back with him.

Shocking -  one week later the "bugs" have been fixed in the breakage detectors..... but if I want one - I must pay the installer another $35 to come back to install it!!!!!  grrrrr!!!! One week to the day our $99 activation fee was credited back to our account.  (They can hit your card instantly... but take a week to give money back)   The waved activation fee to help us have a better feeling toward this company after all the lies and deception - was very short lived.

Imagine our surprise when checking our account statement at the bank, that the $99 activation fee had been "re-charged" to our account one week later!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  No one at APX can explain why, mysteriously the customer support person I had dealt with in the past..........is never "available" I was promised that the $99 was put back on my Visa yesterday, yet it was not.  (my credit union credits accounts immediately - have a bff that works there)

Do not sign a contract with this company.  Our next step will be the BBB or our attorney!!
