

At first we thought the rep was very knowledgeable and courteous ... but we didn't know that once we agreed that they would INSTALL that day!
My husband had worked for three days straight and was very tired. I went to run errands and when I came back the rep was still there installing! My husband was helping since the installer drilled a hole in the wall above our garage door from the attic! My husband helped patch the hole but now it needs to be painted. Then my husband was asked to open and close doors and windows all through the house to help set up the system (isn't this what we are paying THEM to do?).
We were having reservations but everything was happening so quickly that we didn't have time to process all the information and what was going on. Finally while it was time to feed the family dinner - and beepers were still going off I told the installer that the whole project needed to continue on another day so we could eat and get kids to baths and bed etc. He said he understood but continued for another hour. He left a mess even though he said did I want him to cleanup and I said yes. He returned the next day to install two more things - I had company but was interrupted several times and he left another mess in my hallway. I felt so bad for him the first night that we fed the installer dinner! This is after I gave the first rep a ride to another house in our neighborhood on my way to run errand - he was on foot and it was very hot outside.
I admire the young men who were helping for walking on foot to make sales and working through the night to complete tasks but they are young and 1.) need transportation (first rep did not have vehicle but second one did 2.) need to schedule appts to set up system so it is conv. for the family 3.) be willing to fix damage done if mistakes to a home are made. Also, if this company is so good, why do they only give you three days to cancel (perhaps so you are locked in before you realize it is not what you thought you were agreeing to)? This company would do well to allow customers to try out the services for several months then have the three year contract go into effect. Sincerely, Unimpressed Customer who is cancelling on third day.
