So far so good! We had a rep show up at our house which we were off luckily that day. (So far we love the service)
But that is why I am reading this site. I am with ADT and we have 3 business days to review this product. We don't have motion detector but just the basics. A sales rep did show up on our porch yea I was a bit leary, my husband was home. I invited the sales rep in he explained the product and how they have a voice monitor on it, which could help with the new way crooks learn how to sneak into your home by bumping your lock...for more info on that google perhaps bumping home locks.... I liked the idea plus we could get a remote for our key chain (which I don't want but would be great for my parents who are older and not familiar with the adt system all they have to do is it on/off)
My dad use to panic yea at only 60 if he had enough time to get out of the house in...(can't blame him) But through APX we could get the key chain alarm (with which we won't probably use) but the smoke//fire alarm which will send the fire squad to your house. Our price stayed the same but at the very end we did hear the sales pitch of 100.00 to install, but I think that was worth it..
I just pray that it works as well as the alarm system we have had for the last two years. Luckily I have the next day off of work to monitor it as some people have had some bad things to say about it. I will say 2 things I am going to ask are: My account won't be sold to an outside company because in the reviews early people were complaining of that, and also I never knew as some said that I was locked into a 5 year contract! The only thing they told me is that my price wouldn't change in 60 months. But I will definatly let you know of my experience since so many others were so helpful!
