My sister told me an APX salesmen gave her a $2700.00 security system and she was giving it to me as a present. I told her I did not want it installed in my house as I was not ready for a monthly commitment. She said it was only $40.00 and she was paying it and that contract was in her name.
Denice is a loving sister but a bit of a dingbat which is why she is on Social Security. She is house sitting for me while I am in Iraq. My sister does not have a Gen or Special Power of Attorney. I firmly told her she had not legal right to have the system installed and the installer had not leagal right as it was my house and I was never consulted.
The next thing I know I get a bill (my mail is forwarded to me). APX has the darn bill in my name and it is for two months for $155.00. How can they have a contract in my sister's name, but send the bill to me. Sis swears that the contract does not have my name on it anywhere. What the heck is going on with this salesmen and this company?
