APX will install your alarm, but your monitoring will be provided by Security Associates International (www.sai-inc.com), who operate two monitoring centers in the U.S. (Pompano, FL, and Arlington Heights, IL). The ex-salesman from APX that posted should know better.
While investigating which alarm company to choose, I called some local companies, as well as the large national brands like ADT, Brinks and APX. APX offers by far the most equipment and best equipment for free. In order to get the amount of equipment with upgrade that APX gave me, I would have had to pay $599 to Brinks, and $900 to ADT!! Also, my sister who lives down the street from me decided to go with a local company who charges about $20 per month. She has had nothing but problems with her system with no help from her company. We decided to test our systems by intentionally setting them off to see how quickly they respond. She never got a response!!! They never even called back. How is that possible? My system from APX cost $39.99 per month and has a full lifetime warranty. I've never had any problems, and when we tested it, they responded in less than 10 seconds!! My sister had to pay the full contract amount to cancel her system, but now that she has APX, it was worth every penny.
